Silage Chopper Chase 2013 Episode #2
Rockin H had a great opportunity to see Froese Harvesting in action again. This time they were east of Dodge City KS working on Ford County Feeders. Ford County Feeders has a capacity of 52,000 head and take on a variety of feed products. This first cutting of alfalfa is chopped, the rest of the season the feed yard will swath and bale the crop.
Froese brought out a smaller Deere silage chopper, 3 T800 Kenworth semis with their shop built live bottom trailers with powered trailer axles. There was also a T800 end dump truck.
It was great to see the variety of things going on around yard as well. Not too bad for a Saturday.
